About Us
Emily Edwards, CPA, is a native of Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado, she helped land a multi-million dollar grant from the National Institutes of Health to establish a General Clinical Research Center at CU-Boulder. Emily became the Administrative Director of the research center and this piqued her interest in business. She returned to school and graduated with a Masters in Tax from the University of Colorado while working at a local CPA firm in Boulder. In 2005, she moved to Frisco, Colorado and worked for a very large regional firm before forming Emily Edwards CPA, LLC.
Our History
Emily Edwards CPA, LLC, opened in January 2011. After gaining a great deal of experience and knowledge in tax issues at larger firms, Emily felt she could best guide her business, trust and individual clients through often complicated tax situations at a smaller firm. By listening to client’s needs, Emily Edwards CPA LLC has become a firm that clients rely on year-around. The firm has also worked hard to leverage the benefits offered by today’s technology to provide long-distance clients with the same client service and attention as local clients.
Our strategy is to provide you the service you need, so our services are largely determined by our clients and are very individualized. However, our services generally focus on three areas: tax-related services and planning, financial planning and budgeting, and consulting services..
